CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
Dr. Ceilidh Flanagan is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor dedicated to helping women better understand their bodies and navigate their health with clarity, confidence, and support. She has a special interest in women's hormonal health, fatigue, metabolic health, stress-related concerns, and healthy aging.
Many of the women Dr. Ceilidh works with come to her feeling frustrated by ongoing symptoms, overwhelmed by conflicting health advice, or discouraged after being told that everything appears "normal" despite not feeling well. She believes every patient deserves to be heard, thoroughly assessed, and supported with a plan that is tailored to their unique needs and goals.
Her approach combines evidence-informed naturopathic medicine with comprehensive, individualized care. Through detailed health assessments, appropriate laboratory testing, nutrition and lifestyle counselling, targeted supplementation, and ongoing support, she works collaboratively with patients to identify underlying contributors to their symptoms and create realistic, sustainable strategies for long-term health.
Rather than focusing on quick fixes or restrictive approaches, Dr. Ceilidh helps patients build lasting habits that support strength, energy, resilience, and overall wellbeing throughout every stage of life.
Education & Professional Background
Dr. Ceilidh earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Pre-Health Profession Stream) from the University of New Brunswick before completing her Doctor of Naturopathy degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario.
Her educational background provides a strong foundation in human physiology, movement, and health sciences, which she continues to integrate into her clinical practice today. She has also completed additional training in Sports Medicine and Physical Medicine, further strengthening her understanding of musculoskeletal health, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and the many ways movement influences overall health and performance.
Prior to becoming a Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Ceilidh worked in a variety of health and wellness settings as a kinesiologist, personal trainer, and health coach. These experiences continue to shape her practical, patient-centered approach and have given her a deep appreciation for meeting patients where they are and helping them make sustainable changes that fit within the realities of everyday life.
She has been practicing as a Naturopathic Doctor for over three years and remains committed to ongoing professional development to ensure her patients receive safe, evidence-informed, and up-to-date care.
Treatment Philosophy
Dr. Ceilidh believes healthcare should be collaborative, educational, and empowering.
She understands how discouraging it can be to spend years searching for answers, trying different approaches, and still not feeling like yourself. Her goal is to create a space where patients feel genuinely listened to, supported, and equipped with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health.
Patient education is a central part of her practice. She believes that understanding the "why" behind symptoms, testing, and treatment recommendations helps patients feel more confident and engaged in their care. By combining clinical investigation with practical lifestyle strategies, her goal is to help patients move away from guesswork and toward a clearer, more sustainable path to health.
Outside the Clinic
Dr. Ceilidh's passion for naturopathic medicine stems from her belief that health is about far more than the absence of disease. She is passionate about helping women build a foundation for lifelong health and believes that small, consistent changes can have a profound impact over time.
One of the most rewarding parts of her work is helping patients reconnect with themselves, regain confidence in their bodies, and realize that feeling better is possible with the right support and guidance.
